Katherine, here are some fun things to remember in December:

  1. Christmas with Daddy’s boss, Dr. Bennett
  2. Your three-month birthday
  3. A beautiful snow day!
  4. Celebrating the wedding of Kylie and Milton Wilcox
  5. Christmas with Mommy’s boss, Cynthia Newland’s family
  6. Celebrating your friend, Emma Scott’s 1st birthday
  7. Going to a cookie party at our friend’s The Scott’s
  8. Our Christmas Eve Service at the church with Madre, Granddad, Nana, and Uncle Bill
  9. Christmas Eve supper with all our family including Aunt Shelley and Uncle Daniel
  10. Christmas Day!

and finally….

We woke up and had Mommy’s traditional Christmas Breakfast of broiled grapefruit (you slept through it!), and then went over to Madre and Granddad’s to open all our lovely gifts with the family.
You got lots of clothes, some toys, and even a savings bond from Nana. Then we went home so you could nap, and Mommy and Daddy visited with Uncle Daniel and Aunt Shelley. For supper that night, we went to the Duckworth’s house (Nana D and Papa D) and had a grand ol’ time.

It’s not over though. This year, we’re celebrating the 12 days of Christmas so every day from the 24th to the 5th of January there will be presents to look for in our stockings, and the 6th will be Epiphany (celebrated as the day the wise men came to see Jesus); we’ll have one more special present on that day.

    Hi Katherine,

Sounds like you had a busy month! Thanks for updating us and sharing pictures. You’re looking more and more like your mom, I think.

Sounds like you guys had a European Christmas; I think it is almost over here.
Heard good things about your last visit to Marietta.

Looks like you had a busy Christmas. We were sure glad we got to be there to be a part of it. Don’t grow up too fast!
