Once upon a time,
A little girl named Katherine was but a twinkle in her parents’ eyes. “Oh goody,” said her mommy, “I get to make a nursery!” She looked and looked and pondered what she would use to decorate. “How about Peter Rabbit in a garden?” She wondered. So off she went to find Peter Rabbit in the store. But when she got there, no Peter Rabbit was found, not even a single bunny was found nibbling on a carrot! “Oh, how sad,” said her mother, “I suppose any nursery rhyme will do.” But looking again, no nursery rhyme characters were found either. There were lots of beautiful princesses, magical fairies, stars, lady bugs, flowers of all kinds, ballerinas, divas and designs, and even garden-friendly bugs, but no story book characters, no nursery rhymes, and no bunnies! “Sigh, I suppose any garden friendly creature will do just as nice, but I will keep my eyes peeled for bunnies and nursery rhymes just in case. They can all fit in a garden theme together.”
So very slowly, but very surely, Katherine’s mommy and daddy and even her grandparents found this lamp and that sign, they painted this wall and these vines, and hung this picture and this painting, and finally, Katherine had a nursery all ready just in time for her arrival! Now, Katherine can play and sleep soundly in her peaceful little garden room. And if you look hard enough, you might even spot a bunny or two among all her garden friends!
The End of a very beautiful Beginning!

Aww, so you haven’t gotten the letters up on the wall yet? Bummer. Cute nursery, though!

Katherine, what a beautiful, special and unique nursery for beautiful, special and unique you! Some day when you’re “old” and look at these pictures I hope you will catch a glimmer of the love and joyful anticipation your family felt as we looked forward to your arrival, and your mommy and daddy did everything they knew to prepare for the day when they would bring you home. Every brush stroke, every stitch, every design is a special “I love you” sent just to you! Back then we tried to imagine what you would be like, and now we feel totally blessed that you have arrived safely to join our family.
Sarah and Chad, the page looks great and shows the creativity and love you put into getting the nursery ready.
Love you all, Madre

You neat and creative parents. For a “beautiful beginning”, you created a cozy room. Be sure and take plenty of pictures for our sweet and beautiful Katherine to view when she’s older. She’ll feel really special because you did this just for her.
Looks GREAT!
Love to you all
