I’ve got a few pictures of the house and what it looks like now that I’ve painted.

As you can see, I’m feeling right at home already!
If you’re not Sarah, click the “more” link to see more pictures from the house.

The bedroom was originally a dark sea-foam green, the kitchen was primary red and black, and the bathroom was originally very orange. Sarah gave some input on these color choices, but I picked them all.
Sorry I don’t have any pictures of the rest of the house yet! I’ll work on getting more soon…

Chad!! Looks great! And I’m guessing from the “if you’re not Sarah click more” that it’s a surprise for her – that’s so fun! Do you think you’re going to get most of the work done before the wedding?? Just 2 more weeks!! I guess it’s nice for you to have something to keep you busy while Sarah’s in GA…
Looking forward to more pics of the house and can’t wait to see you guys!
We love you both,
Kate & Chris

You’re right, it’s a surprise for Sarah. She’s been to the house and has seen the rooms in their wretched former states, so I look forward to being able to surprise her with these new colors!
I certainly hope most everything gets done before the wedding. I’ve got a little under two weeks before I leave for Georgia, so that should leave me plenty of time to move out of my apartment and into the house.
Beth, thanks for the compliment on the kitchen! I wasn’t too sure about the color when I first started painting, but it looks like it worked out well. I’m surprised how well the odd green goes with the black-and-white checkerboard tile.
All four of you will have to come visit us in Jackson some time!
See y’all in about two weeks!

I love the kitchen!! Very fun. We have similar tile in the hall and bathroom (odd, I know – but we didn’t choose it).
That’s so sweet that you’re surprising her!

Chad and Sarah,
We love you both and are very excited about your upcoming marriage. It has been a beautiful God given love story to watch unfold.
Thanks for a really good excuse to take a road trip. I’m not sure if the whole family will be able to attend the wedding, but I am planning on being there – I wouldn’t miss it!
Love you guys,
Sara
P.S. I really like the colors you chose for the house.

Pretty.
Ignore my question on your most recent post, please. I didn’t start from the beginning.
